I used Silent Coat for my Bay Window. It was less than half the price of Dynamat. I think it was 2 or 4mm thick, sticky on one side so you could mould it into all sorts of corners. The other side was shiny silver. You could get foam type panels but I went for thinner choice.

Can't really say if it made a difference yet as I haven't got the van back on the road yet but when I looked at the comments on the stuff it seemed ok. It looked just like the pics of Dynamat you see in all the car restoration programmes but was at least half the price.
Van is ready for the road. Just sent away all the historic vehicle stuff to get it of SORN and be exempt from an MOT. That was a bit Micky Mouse taking it to my local post office who didn't have a clue what I was on about. That's 2 weeks and still nothing to me. Says on the DVLA web page that you can use the vehicle when you have applied but I don't want to risk that.
Got some pics of the soundproofing I put on if you give me an email or what's app address.
